Over the next 160KM ‪@TheJoeyP‬ and I will hike across Madeira - starting in the dramatic cliffs of Porto Moniz on the northwest coast, we hiked through lush forests, volcanic ridge lines, and tiny mountain villages all the way to the furthest point in the east.

This wasn’t just a hike — it was one of the most beautiful and challenging experiences of my life.

Along the way, we climbed up to the highest peak on the island — Pico Ruivo — and descended through misty laurel forests and winding levada trails. We passed through Seixal, explored Machico, and followed the rugged coastline with jaw-dropping views around every corner. Each night, we rested in small local hotels, tasted traditional Madeiran dishes, and recharged for the next leg of the journey.
