We’ve just landed in São Miguel, the largest island in the Azores—and it already feels like another world. After a short drive from the airport, we’re in the charming capital of Ponta Delgada, where we’ve arrived just in time for a vibrant local festival. The streets are alive with music, traditional Azorean food, and parades filled with colour and energy.
