As a parent with a child who has been diagnosed with autism or a related disability you don't know what you don't know. The Kansas Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities training program (Kansas LEND) at the University of Kansas Medical Center shares different topics that effect the life course of individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and their families with the Family Education Series for all Kansas families.
Insurance Coverage for Spectrum Disorder: Past, Present, and Future with Mike Wasmer, Chief Operating Officer at Council of Autism Service Providers held on Thursday, September 14th.
Mike will discuss the history of autism insurance reform, the status of coverage for autism in Kansas and Missouri today, current challenges and future advocacy efforts.
