Mother, do not assume that your beloved child
has abandoned his home once in for all
That he has cut ties from the city and its people
That he has turned his face towards an unknown city and people
Mother, do not assume, for he is familiar with pain
As he was once a stranger, heartless, and ungrateful
O' omen of hope, never ever believe
that he has left you and was unrightful
I see you anxious with a heart full of dread
while you sat by the window alone
O' dear mother, I shall sacrifice myself for you
For how tired you have become because of me
Mother, after all these long-gone years
my soul still hears the echoes of your lullaby
It is healing and gentle on my ears to hear
the voice of you over the sounds of hundred angels
Mother, do not be saddened, if the hand of fate
pulls me out of nest like a bird for a while
That day when the shackles from my feet get broken
I will fly back towards you and my nest
Mother, I swear by your dear soul that never
will the sublime memories of you leave my heart
Until the outskirts of my coffin cloth reach dust
your image and essence will not leave me
