Welcome back to the final episode of our deep dive into British Rail’s Railfreight sector! In Part 3, we continue exploring Railfreight distribution, tracking the progress of Class 47 306 as it hauls an increasing number of ferry vans.
We also see Class 47 375 in action, running with modern vans branded with the RFD logo and even some tank wagons—possibly a maintenance move. The trusty Class 47s, despite their age, remained a backbone of operations well into the late BR years.
