🚆 The Journey: Our adventure begins aboard the iconic Southern Electric 2 BIL EMU (Nos. 2041 & 2114). We delve into the fascinating history of the 2 BIL fleet, including their pioneering electro-pneumatic control gear and the specific war damage suffered by these historic units. ⚡ The Star Loco: We arrive to see the magnificent Metropolitan Railway Electric Locomotive (Met-Vick). Built in the 1920s, these 1200 HP beasts were the most powerful to run on the Underground, hauling trains from the City to Metro-Land.
