Описание: Train Merges 2 Tracks Over At Interlocking, 3 More Trains Passing Immediately, Tiger Stripes Locomotives Of Wheeling & Lake Erie Railway, Railroad Diamonds, Train Horn Salutes, CSX Auto Racks Train With Rebuilt DPU Earning Its Keep. 6 Trains In Greenwich, Ohio Around The Eclipse In Northern Ohio. Watch how fast a CSX train with Recently Rebuilt DPU locomotive mid train goes from stopping to track speed. Then immediately another CSX train shows up at the 5 track railroad crossing. This action is near the Cleveland Ohio area and one of the best places to watch the eclipse. I filmed a train running through the eclipse and I posted that video a few days before this one. That video is a must see!
This video shows one train going over the railroad diamonds. Most of the trains are changing routes and bypass the diamonds. I will be doing another video soon that goes into detail about these unusual railroad diamonds. They are rare, experimental diamonds called Flange Bearing Frog diamonds. Trains going over the diamonds do not actually use the top of the rail. The flanges of the locomotives and train cars bear the weight of the train as it passes over the diamonds. I will show this in detail in my next video from Greenwich and it will make sense. But on to this video son.
This video features a Wheeling & Lake Erie train ( Class II Regional RR ) and 5 CSX trains. I rode up here with Scott, 1960gambit for the purpose of getting a train in the eclipse. We got lucky and filmed one at the perfect time so make sure you see that rare video. The most interesting train in this video is the train that the locals call the Bobby Train. That train uses tall sided gondola cars to ship debris and waste. A lot of the cars have the word Bobby on them. You can see that Bobby graffiti in the video. At the end of the video I have a couple of them in the slide show.
At the 30:00 minute point in this video we have something very interesting. Two car loads of railfans were passing by at the railroad crossing and had their music cranked up and synced together. They were playing my theme music! That was awesome. I didn't get a chance to talk to them but that was pretty cool when they drove past.
