Join me on this walking tour as I take you through the full arrival experience at Dubai International Airport, one of the busiest and most impressive airports in the world.
The journey begins the moment I step off the plane and follow the signs leading toward the transit area. From there, I walk past the Connecting Flights section, a major hub for passengers catching their next flight. I then head to the elevators that bring me down to the arrival level, where passport control is located.
After clearing immigration, I make my way to the baggage claim area, where luggage arrives smoothly on wide carousels. Then it’s a short walk past the customs baggage check, and just like that, I enter the greeting and meeting area, where families, friends, and drivers wait for arriving passengers.
Outside, I walk past the taxi stand and the Uber pick up zone, both of which are busy but well organised. Then I stop at Costa Coffee to grab a drink while waiting for my ride. Finally, we head through the zebra crossing, up the escalator, and take the elevator to the carpark, ready to leave the airport.
