4x4 winter bee hive removal and relocation

The title of this video does not refer to the size of the hive, though it was 4 feet by 4 feet, but rather to the terrain that we had to go through just to get to this house. The house was WAY back in the woods, almost as far back as Mike Barry's house is, but I think Mikes road to his house is slightly better than the road we crossed. The road was all mud, about 2 blocks long, it went down one hill and up another, and was pretty soft due to the rain we had 2 days prior to us getting there. On top of that, I was driving a Nissan MV200 that has about 6 inches of ground clearance. Getting to the house was no problem, but when we left, we had to go through on the tracks we had made coming in, and yes, we got stuck 3/4's the way back up the hill. As Charlie got out the van he said he wanted to video me getting the van out, but I nixed the idea just in case the van wound up in the woods, I did not want any reminders of my mistake. I backed the van all the way to the top of the hill by the house, dropped it it low and punched it. Now I will say this, I've been on rides at fairs that were a bit more intense, but the ride back out of this hole had me holding on to the wheel pretty tight. As I passed Charlie standing on the side of the road yelling out encouragement, and the van was sliding all over the place due to the mud caked up on the wheels, I made it to the top of the other hill and breathed a big sigh of relief. After a quick "Thank you Jesus'" Charlie jumped back into the van and we headed back to the abbey. Now I'm sorry we did not video the adventure, it would have helped to understand the title better.

Then, when we got back to the abbey, we had a couple who just got back from a cruise waiting for us. Kenneth and Kristy are from Memphis, and before headed home, they wanted to come and hang out for a while. I was a great time meeting them, and as you will see, they even helped with the video.

The removal itself went very well, and the queen capture happened at the very end after all the bees had been removed. I was almost convinced I had vacuumed her, I was happy to see that I had not.
