Using a Double Screen board to split a hive

Описание: This video is my attempt at splitting a hive with a double screen board. I used a piece of 1x4-inch pine. I cut two pieces 19 7/8-inches long and three that are 9 inches long. I cut a 3/8-inch deep by 2 inches wide by 1 1/2-inch long in one of the 9-inch pieces. I glued and screwed the pieces together using a pocket screw jig by Kregg (at Lowe's or Home Depot for about $20 when I purchased mine). Stapled the screen on both sides all the way to the edges. This will act as a top for the bottom boxes making a new queen and a bottom board for the boxes with the old queen in them going out the back of the hive.
