This is how I change the blades on my thicknesser. My machine is the AW106PT planer/thicknesser from Axminster but I'm fortunate enough to have a separate planer for flattening and jointing boards.

Made by recycling an old chopping board, which I suspect to be bamboo. I also faced a challenge that I often enjoy - woodturning but without the use of a lathe! I decided not to narrate over this one as I've been suffering with a sore throat lately and I've been delaying the upload for long enough. It'll be interesting to see how this approach is received.
