System Overview
The Automated Specimen Marking Station is designed to deliver repeatable and precise gauge marking for Vector Extensometer. The system uses the same marking pen as manual marking, making it familiar and easy to replace, while safely encapsulating it within the station to improve operator safety.
A motorized table allows controlled left-to-right movement, enabling accurate placement of gauge markings. Integrated sensors ensure reliable operation by detecting specimen presence and maintaining precise positional awareness through a homing reference system.
The centering station automatically aligns each specimen with the marking pen, ensuring that gauge circles are consistently placed at the center of the specimen every time.
