We visited the train museum here and rode the train to the turntable and back. This is actually Part 2 and Part 1 shows a locomotive turning on the table. See that video.
This video shows how the passenger trains are turned on the museum wye. The wye includes spring switches as you can see. We see the train turning when a long Norfolk Southern freight train with a DPU on the rear passes. That was pretty cool. After that we rode the train and I show some of the sights along the line including going through a rare tunnel. I rode to Tennessee with Scott, 1960gambit.
After the train ride we take a quick look at the model trains and displays inside the building next to the train station. There are all kinds of locomotives and freight cars here to look at. We also ate lunch inside the station and had a great view of the Norfolk Southern mainline. While eating lunch a huge train passed. I filmed the whole thing. I debated on whether to keep the restaurant sounds in the video or replace it with music. I kept the original sounds. You can hear the trains passing and people in the restaurant making noise. None of that was me by the way Lol.
