1. Top of monitor height should be in line with Eyes
a. Too high or too low of a monitor height can lead to neck pain or headaches
b. Follow your nose
i. If nose is tilted downward, raise the screen
ii. If nose is tilted upwards, lower the screen
2. Extend arm towards monitor. Tips of fingers should touch your monitor, if you have to bend your elbow, the monitor is too close. If you have to reach excessively towards monitor, monitor is too far away
3. If you’re getting value, consider dropping a like or tipping a coffee, it really helps support the channel
4. If using two monitors, align both monitors in front of you to eliminate excessive neck rotation towards one side, which may cause neck pain or headaches.
a. Place both monitors in front of you and extend arm to ensure they are close/far enough away
5. If using a laptop
a. Stack laptop up with laptop stand until top of laptop monitor is level with eyes
i. You can use books to stack laptop monitor
b. Use a Bluetooth keyboard for typing in this position to ensure appropriate ergonomics with arm position when typing
6. Remember, there’s no one perfect posture, but some of these tips can help alleviate common ailments that can arise from extended periods of poor posture
a. Be sure to get up and take breaks throughout the day
