Lake Superior’s winter shoreline is a beautiful icy wonderland! See my drone’s-eye-view of ice caves, arches, and other formations. All footage was captured on the shores of Lake Superior, just off highway 17 north of Sault Ste Marie, ON 🇨🇦
I used two drones for this video:
DJI Mavic 3 Classic is my main drone. It’s super steady, with amazing colours and detail. It can go up to 75km/hr! All of the steady shots were taken on this
DJI Avata 2 is the fun, agile drone. It’s a bit of a mix between a normal camera drone and a racing drone. It has guards around its small propellers so you can feel safer getting close to objects. Its screen is built into a pair of goggles, like virtual reality, and it really feels like you’re there!
