XO Sauce Cheung Fun
Bradley and I are out to prove that all you need is a nonstick pan, good ingredients, 10 minutes and our recipe to cook RESTAURANT quality XO Sauce Stir Fried Rice Rolls. I figured out a way to get that signature Cantonese char on the Rice Rolls without needing restaurant standard “Wok Hei” aka the breath of the wok.
📃 Recipe:
400g Cheung Fun Rice Rolls
2 eggs
1-2 cups yellow chives
2 cups bean sprouts
1 large chili (non spicy) cut into thin slivers
1 pinch of salt (for the veggies)
Ingredients for flavour:
2-3 tablespoons LKK XO Sauce (it’s not too spicy and suitable for kids) mixed with 2-3 tablespoons of water
1 teaspoon light soy sauce mixed with
3 tablespoons dark soy sauce
💡Tip:
If the final dish is in salty enough just add a little salt. Try to avoid adding more soy sauce because we added enough soy sauce during the cooking process and you don’t want to overdo it.
