Economic, political, medical, social, and yes, even “religious” spokespersons, of every persuasion, assault their already apprehensive audiences with the same message: BE AFRAID! In contrast to Christ and virtually all the supernatural participants in its recorded history that consistently greet despairing, worried or startled people with a reassuring, “Fear not!” Into which category do you fall—fearful or unafraid?
