A MacArthur “genius award” recipient, she works across media—from miniature painting to digital animation—exploring diaspora, colonial histories, and gender politics.
Presented in conjunction with Shahzia Sikander: Collective Behavior, the career-spanning exhibition making its final and only West Coast stop at the Cantor (Sept 17, 2025–Jan 25, 2026). Supported by The Distinguished Lecture in Asian Art Fund in Honor of the Lijin Collection.
