Today’s Gospel (John 5:1-16) presents us with Jesus at the pool of Bethesda. He meets a man who has been paralyzed for 38 years and asks him a soul-searching question: "Do you want to be well?"
This Lenten prayer asks Christ, the true Living Water, to heal our own spiritual paralysis.
While we honor St. Patrick today, we focus on this Lenten call to rise from our complacency and walk in the new life that Christ commands.
