Brightline Construction: Indian River County & St Lucie County Progress - December 2021/January 2022

Описание: In this update, I look at some of the Brightline construction progress in Indian River County and Saint Lucie County including Sebastian, Vero Beach, and Fort Pierce. This is being done as part of their phase 2 expansion of higher-speed passenger rail service to the Orlando market.

I start with a quick look in Sebastian along Old Dixie Highway.

Then I follow the tracks between Wabasso and Gifford and a bridge in Vero Beach.

I next look at progress in northern St. Lucie County centered around Indrio Road/Michigan Street.

I then drive along Old Dixie Highway between Indrio Road/Michigan Street and North Bridge Causeway.

A look at the tie plant at the Florida East Coast Railway's Fort Pierce Yard and part of the yard itself.

Work around Midway Road and the future CP White City Crossover is next.

I finish with a look around Walton Road.
