BRIDGEWATER CANAL COLLAPSE! More SERIOUS Flooding! Update From Peel

This is the account of our frightening experience as the Bridgewater Canal breached at Little Bollington, on New Year's day! This breach took place after 16 hours of non-stop heavy rain, that filled the canal up so much that it was going above the towpath and flooding over this put so much pressure on a 260-year-old canal embankment that it completely collapsed into the worst breach since 1971, when the canal breached here, in the exact same spot! In This video, I flew the drone back to the breach and witnessed more serious flooding in the fields around the Brolin, after lots more rain last night. Which has prevented me from being able to get to the other side of the breach. So instead today, while waiting for the engineers to come, me and Dad get on with some jobs that needed doing on the boat, also sub-contractors come and collected the rubbish from all the boaters, Peel also paid me a visit and told me that they are working on getting toilets to us and a big generator. Will we get an update from the engineers?
