Описание: In any major reform many are likely to kick against it due to the fear of the unknown. This has been the fate of the new pay policy that took over from the Ghana Universal Salary structure -- GUSS. The single Spine salary structure has no doubt been bedeviled with a myriad of storms due to perhaps the publicity that, its introduction will change lives of public sector works over night. Inadequate coordination by HRs in public sector organizations has been pointed out as a major hindrance to the proper execution of the SSSS. A conflict resolutions expert has called for an information sharing and education to enable people understand and appreciate the role of the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission. One thing that needs clarification is that, is the pay policy all about increment in salary? When fully operational, given its five year span, will work the SSSS work the magic of reducing strikes? Has the introduction of the SSSS had an effect on government budget? And what strategy must government adopt to manage the wage bill especially during electioneering.
