CC Essentials 5th Edition Overview

I split the curriculum into two 1" binders. Only one binder will need to go to class, depending on what week we are in. It's a good idea to have a notebook or loose leaf paper for taking notes during class. Don't be afraid to take notes in your guide! Items with an asterisk indicate they're a copy of originals or a tabbed section that has been moved.

Binder 1 is for weeks 1-12
Introduction
Scope & sequence
Lessons 1-12
* Glossary, weekly sentences, and analytical tasks appendices pulled from the end of the guide. When we move into week 13, I'll move these tabs to binder 2.
* Copy of Master charts in page protectors  

Binder 2 is for weeks 13-24
* Copy of scope & sequence
Lessons 13-24
All appendices back in their original places
* Copy of Master charts in page protectors  

Binder 3 contains the contents of the student packet plus the mastery charts from the solutions manual. The contents of this binder are what will be used to make your student's personal binder where they will copy charts, practice editing, and analyze sentences. This binder just holds the originals and includes:
* Mastery charts (in page protectors)
Student blank charts (in page protectors)
Editing exercises 
Blank analytical task, Quid et Quo, and spelling sheets for copying

Binder 4 consists of the Solutions manual. Since editing and weekly sentences are at home work, this section is not needed in class. I removed the mastery charts and put them with my student binder, so my Solutions binder only contains:
Editing answer keys
Weekly sentence answer keys (each week tabbed with a small sticky tab to easily locate the week we're on).
