73. From Anchorage to Christmas Chaos | Travel, Knitting & Real Life

This week’s video is a real-life catch-up.
It starts on a layover in Anchorage, where I had to visit the ER to get my wrist checked, followed by a visit to Far North Yarn. I’ve been there before, so this time I’m mostly sharing the beautiful sample knits in the shop and the yarn I chose to knit a Skulator jumper for my husband.
After Anchorage, life got very busy: Chicago, then back to Incheon, and on to San Antonio where we spent a few days visiting family and meeting our new grandson. Somewhere along the way, we both got sick, and Christmas Day was spent in bed recovering.
I also share a few cozy updates — we nearly set the house on fire with a new fondue set on Christmas Eve, I finally finished my friendship sweater (and I love how it turned out), and Millie is settling in beautifully with the other dogs.
Next week we’re heading to Valle de Bravo… even though I’m not feeling very motivated to pack.
