70. El Revés Yarn Store (Coyoacán, Mexico City) + Finished Knits & What I’m Making!

This week I finally had a little break… and of course I went straight to a yarn shop: El Revés, a tiny, cozy yarn store in the heart of Coyoacán, one of the most charming neighborhoods in Mexico City. Think old Mexican houses, calm streets, soft colours—absolutely dreamy.

And before anything else:
A huge thank you to all my new followers who found me through my “Can I bring knitting needles on a plane?” video. ✈️🧶
I’m so happy you’re here! On this channel I share my life as an airline pilot, what I’m knitting, and all the yarn stores I discover around the world during my layovers.

Today I take you with me to El Revés—open only Tuesdays and Thursdays, run by the most welcoming knitter. If you ever visit and mention this video, I’m sure you’ll get a very warm hello!

✨ My little Cottage Hair Accessories bow by Wool & Pine (I’m making more for the pets for Christmas!)
✨ The hat I made for my stepson Emilio — he’s going skiing soon!
✨ The yarn I brought back from Anchorage to knit a matching hat for his girlfriend (so they can be “Los Ñoños” like my husband and I 😄)
✨ What’s currently on my needles: the Friendship Sweater by Knit Sisu (and yes… I failed picking up the sleeves twice 😂)

You’ll also see a cute little cameo from Jack when I had to run and grab my mittens !

Plus: a small chat about my upcoming roster — Las Vegas (Mariah Carey? Tim McGraw? 👀), then Ho Chi Minh City — and a tiny story about how I first heard of Tim McGraw back when I was a young captain in 2013.
