We were buzzing with excitement as we headed to the Kruger National Park for one day. Our first stop was Phabeni Gate, where we picked up our pre-ordered macadamia nuts (because snacks are essential, right?) and made our way in. It was such a joy to see the Park so lush and green, with water everywhere. It truly felt alive. The drive from Phabeni to Skukuza was a wildlife lover's dream with all kinds of animals along the way. Unfortunately, the road from Skukuza to Lower Sabie was closed due to flood damage, but the other roads of Kruger didn’t disappoint. We had three incredible lion sightings, spotted plenty of hyenas, and soaked up 24 unforgettable hours in our favourite place on earth. For us, there’s just nowhere better than Kruger.
