Описание: On May 15-16, UBC Health hosted Bridging Research and Action, a two-day event focused on catalyzing collaboration and bringing knowledge into action across British Columbia.

This session, 'A Collaborative Effort to Improve Suicide Care in Emergency Departments Within Interior Health', featured a collaboration between UBC Okanagan, Canadian Mental Health Association, and Interior Health, with special guest Honourable Minister Josie Osborne to discuss suicide screening in Interior Health emergency departments.

The Bridging event brought together researchers, practitioners, policymakers, patient and community partners, and other interest holders from across sectors, with in-person sessions at both UBC Vancouver and UBC Okanagan campuses, and virtual participation from across BC and beyond.

The session captured in this recording represents a snapshot in time, highlighting ideas and projects that will evolve and shift, and that will shape future conversations.
