In this episode, I'll share with you why we get so overwhelmed this time of year, and a few methods for getting back control of your schedule, while still embracing the joy and peace you want to feel during the holidays.
It can be so easy to let the business slide when you're feeling stressed and over scheduled during the holidays. However using these strategic planning tips, can help you feel more confident and at ease about without compromising relationships or your business.
Step #1 - Recognize that we still only have 24 hours in a day. Get realistic with what can be squeezed into your already busy schedule, but don't beat yourself up for not being able to do everything. You're only human, and indulging in shame only makes you get less done.
Step #2 - Relationships are important, but shouldn't cost more than you can give. You can let people know how important they are during this season, without putting yourself into burnout.
Step #3 - Create a "holiday menu" of things you really want to do, only including things that truly bring you joy and your excited about. Leaving the extra stuff for only if you feel like it. Remove the pressure of feeling like you have to do it all this year. Maybe some things were part of past holidays or can be done next year.
