In this vlog, I take an American Pakistani with me on our first ever trip to Peshawar. We explore the city, its history, culture, and famous food spots, giving a real feel for what Peshawar has to offer.
We start by visiting the Peshawar Museum, where we learn about the region’s rich history and heritage. From there, we head to Bala Hisar Fort to take in the views and understand its historical importance.
We then make our way through Qissa Khwani Bazaar, one of the most famous and historic bazaars in Pakistan, full of life, tradition, and local culture. After that, we eat at the well known Nisar Charsi Tikka in Namak Mandi, experiencing some of the best food Peshawar is famous for.
To end the day, we visit a local gun factory to see how firearms are made locally and to understand the general pricing and process from a purely observational and cultural point of view.
If you are an overseas Pakistani, considering hijrah, or simply curious about travelling and exploring Pakistan beyond the usual cities, this vlog offers an honest first impression of Peshawar.
