This is a short restoration video for my Inspiron 1440 that I bought with the intent to donate its nice LP140WD1 TLA1 screen onto my Latitude E6430. (For more info on this, watch this video: • How to upgrade to an IPS like quality LCD ... )
But since the laptop is actually fully functional, I have restored it and made a number of important upgrades to offset the screen that's been downgraded.
Sorry the disassembly footage was screwed up a little and I can't find the footage for the cleaning process...
This laptop is now great for Zoom calls, basic office tasks and YouTube playback with a night and day faster CPU and a SSD+HDD combo
