Dell Inspiron 9100 Full Disassembly & Restoration

Описание: This is a Dell Inspiron 9100 that was once more powerful than any typical desktop replacement laptops. It didn't suffer from too much permenant damage except for the graphics, but it was extremely filthy both on the outside and on the inside (as you will find out). I have to spend quite a bit to fetch parts-people's last remaining stock of the graphics card to replace my faulty one. I really wish I could find a higher end card to go in here but I searched everywhere on the web to no avail...
Still though, I was able to completely restore it back to function again with an upgraded screen, DVD burner drive and a bluetooth card from my fixed M4300.
Unfortunately, now the bezel is cracked on the bottom right and both bottom left and right screw holes of the bezel shattered. This is because while Dell used metal for the lid (similar to Inspiron 8500/8600), they used cast quality magnesium at 2/3 the thickness compared to the thickness of the carved magnesium on the D800 lid which has none of these problems. As such the lid slightly bends when you operate the hinges, putting stress on the bezel and it snaps there. No functionality problems as the hinges are still smooth and the lid won't snap for sure, but annoying.
