Today I made the rounds again — starting on Road 58 and Straight Branch, heading into Creek Junction, then driving over the newly completed bridge before looping around Grassy Ridge to check on the Creeper Trail reconstruction.
There’s definitely movement happening, and in this video I show exactly what I’m seeing on the ground. From infrastructure progress to overall trail conditions, this is a real-time look at how things are shaping up.
Being able to document this process — especially after the devastation from Hurricane Helene — is something I don’t take lightly. These updates aren’t just about today… they’re about capturing history as it’s being rebuilt.
