In the beginning: "Get The Rock Funk Down" by Spectrum was written in February of 1974 then recorded in September of 1974 at Radex Studio in Freeport, IL. The picture was taken in 1976 with my band HEADWIND from Freeport, IL as I was 19 when this was recorded and 21 by the time this photo was taken. At this time, there are photos of my band Spectrum, however I'm not in possession of them. Once found, an update will be provided. Spectrum was a three piece original rock groove funk band developing our style of a variety of melodic, groove rock, funk rock originals.
