The East Germanic, or Visigothic, influence on Spanish and Portuguese extends to names as well. Many names we immediately recognise as being Iberian don't come from Latin. This video examines some of these names, and offers a conjecture about grammatical vestiges of East Germanic in current Ibero-Latin culture.
