Описание:
This video presents a new technology that is capable of preventing pollution from a sub sea blow out.
The pump connected at the bottom of the riser is powered from high pressure sea water pumped through the kill and choke lines on the riser. The kill and choke lines are present on any standard marine drilling riser.
The unit can be very quickly deployed thus preventing sub sea pollution.
The capacity of this system is about eight times the volume witnessed in the Gulf.
