Описание: Since graduating in 2001 with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, David has spent the past 18 years developing an umbilical focussed career within the Oil and Gas industry. After a brief period working in Coiled Tubing well interventions, in 2004 David’s career shifted towards subsea umbilicals where he began training as an umbilical project engineer with Oceaneering Multiflex in Rosyth. Over the next 6 years, he undertook a number of challenging roles within the organisation, culminating in his appointment as technical sales manager.

In 2011, after a year-long travel sabbatical, David returned to the industry seeking new challenges. Using his umbilical manufacturing background as leverage, David has been providing specialist engineering support to design consultancies, operators and EPCI contractors ever since. David currently works for Subsea7 as a Senior Controls and Umbilicals Engineer based in Westhill.
