I have been arranging music for several years now, as part of the Hal Leonard Arrange Me Project. They have secured copyrights for many popular songs and we have special permission to arrange these titles. I like to choose songs that I feel have stood the test of time. Benny Anderson & Bjorn Ulvaeus formed ABBA with their wives and have brought us many wonderfully catchy tunes. I was happy to see the resurgence of popularity with a whole new generation of people with their stage and movie hit "Mamma Mia!"

Money, Money, Money has catchy riffs, and fun lyrics. I love writing for piano duet -- you get to access the full range of the keyboard, all at once, with double the power. The duet was fun to write: it takes some phrases and breaks them up between the duet partners, the "secondo" part has some fun, driving rhythms. And I injected a wee bit of jazzy blues in the "primo" part. Whoever plays the Primo part needs some quick reflexes, and the Secondo part needs to "lay down the rhythm"!
