over 400 students pass out in patriotism course at Bright Academy- kasese municipality

Описание: Deputy RDC Kasese district Lieutenant Maate Magwara has called upon Bright Academy students in Kasese municipality to desist from using drugs and alcohol that could ruin their lives.
This comes at a time when he was officiating the passing out of over 400 students from this school who had participated in a patriotism course for three weeks.
Lieutenant Maate Magwara says if youths don’t get rid of drug abuse, they will end up destroying their future. He adds that the government is working closely with cultural institutions] through the Ministry of Gender to ensure that these vices are eradicated among the youth.
He also asks students to abstain from sexual activities so that they don’t get infected with HIV/AIDS which will prevent them not seeing their tomorrow.
Maate Magwara says early marriage cases are on the rise in the district, he however says the only solution in fighting this vice, the youths have to keep in schools as their parents take care of them for their better future.
Speaking to Mbusa Emmanuel – patriotism teacher at this school, he highlights on the key activities and lessons they took students through to instil love in them for their country and continent.
He urges students to keep up the spirit of patriotism and making sure that they implement all the good traits they have learnt throughout this course.
Schools have been asked by government to take up patriotism course that will instil love in students; hearts for their country and continent.
