Parents have been asked to get involved in their children's education journey at kasese Muslim pri.

Описание: Parents have been called upon to become part of their children’s education journey as they fulfil their responsibilities of paying school fees and buying scholastic materials in time.
This was said by Kabega Elias head teacher kasese Muslim nursery and primary school while speaking to parents who had attended parents and teachers engagement plus visitation day in the school premises.
Mr. Kabega Elias says if parents become part of their children’s life and education, the children will be able progress and succeed in life.
As kasese district is struggling with increasing cases of early marriages especially in villages, Mr. Kabega Elias says parents’ negligence has played a bigger role in promoting this vice. He further says that if parents made sure that they keep their children in schools, cases of early marriages would be minimised.
While addressing parents during the meeting, Mr Abdula Siraji one of the school’s management committee members, he urged parents to fully support their children as they pursue education instead of leaving everything to teachers in the upbringing and educating their children.
However, parents have also gone ahead expressing their grievances of teachers who have also failed to fulfil their responsibilities in teaching their pupils well.
