The last DLC route we have is Lu Bu's. It's a bit, uh, unpolished overall, but still pretty fun.
We start by fulfilling a request from Diaochan to go help Lu Bu out, who is surrounded by enemies. But he'll last for a good long while so you have plenty of time to rescue his ally officers and ride to his rescue. Jia Xu tries to set up catapults once he eliminates his group of enemies, and will do so quickly. If you wanted, you could just rush straight to Lu Bu though.
Diaochan uses the Rope Dart moveset in the DLC, and is a new companion you can use. We unlocked the Rope Dart at Guandu in Yuan Shao's last stage, but I believe you can unlock it in Lu Bu's route as well. Rope Dart took much longer to unlock than the Bow which was almost instantly. But it's kind of warranted because Rope Dart is probably the most broken weapon in the game. Or at least, it's Battle Arts are.
Rope Dart gains access to a very low cost pair of Battle Arts, one that can launch the enemy and another that has you spin mid-air to shred them. Combined with Disc of Huanglong they only cost 1 Bravery each so you can spam them pretty easily and it shreds enemy Fortitude and deals good damage, especially with Vortex Gem. Beyond that, you can unlock Diaochan's Lunar Maelstrom attack, the strongest Rope Dart Battle Art that has such range and hits SO hard that it's basically a mini-musou. Finally after beating the hardest Training Ground trial, the True Dream Battle, you can unlock a Battle Art that instantly stuns an enemy, leaving them vulnerable no matter what they were trying to do instead of having to wait for an opening.
The moveset itself is just kind of okay, however. Its attacks are a bit slow with some openings in its animations and some of its Hold Triangle attacks are short range combos rather than big long range attacks, which just feels awkward to input for me. It has a gimmick where if you use a move that thrusts the Rope Dart out like the neutral Triangle, you can then tap R2 to zip yourself toward who you hit, and you can then tap Square during the zip to unleash a quick horizontal spinning attack. But this input also feels awkward, since R2 is also the dodge button, so if you press R2 too early, you'll interrupt your own attack and just shift forward slightly. Maybe with practice the gimmick would be fun, but I prefer to just shred enemies with the Battle Arts.
