And although Person kept producing, Miller continued to separate himself each year, until Person was traded about halfway through his career. Person would bounce around with 4 teams the remainder of his career, finding some success as a specialist in San Antonio. Unfortunately, a back injury led to a steep decline in the later years of Person's career. Even though Person may not have been the most consistent scorer, or the best defender, he was a threat to go off on any given night and gave fans a lot of excitement and opponents a lot of buckets for 13 seasons.
