Описание: Part 1 of my first Cairo trip took me from downtown to the tip of Al Manial peninsula. I was prepared for technical challenges and I got them! Cairo and its traffic: what can I say? There is actually a system at work. Indeed, oddly perhaps, I did not feel unsafe and felt I maintained control of all situations. This was still for sure a memorable inline skate trip full of superlatives. It proved to be my technically most intense skate trip abroad to date (to be surpassed a few days later already) and the longest river in the world (Nile) was my backdrop. It was also the first time that I skated on African soil, making this the 4th continent in my skating repertoire as well as the 6th and last continent in my combined skating+cycling repertoire, as Antarctica seems unlikely.
