Описание: Welcome to 2024! On the first day of 2024, I put on my skates and started at the Nile. I took on Tahrir Sq by skates and continued through the downtown Cairo. Quite the rush! I paid the very first bike lane in downtown Cairo a visit and conquered a pedestrian bridge of questionable quality but with a great view. I ended up at Ramses Railway Station, the only train station in Cairo. It was there that a local hero prevented a potential fall! Bonus 1: insight in the renovated Ramses Station building. Bonus 2: a glimpse of where the skates went after that (Coptic Cairo). Bonus 3: how my first post-Egypt inline skating trip back in Amsterdam looked!
