Best campsite in Northland, New Zealand, the Spirits Bay Campsite. In this video, will take you to paradise at Kapowairua Spirits Bay Campsite! The scenery is as unique as it was a full blown photo! Located at the northernmost area of New Zealand just few minutes drive from Cape Reinga Lighthouse. This is the 4th day of our 6 Day Campervan Trip to Northland, New Zealand. (Sorry it took so long for this one to be edited. Yes ;-), this is still the continuation of our previous 6 day Campervan Trip to Northland videos.
We really recommend this place. It's a beautiful campsite and very spacious! Camp in a picturesque setting between the beach (5 min walk) and mountains and wild horses only spoilt by heavy rain overnight and strong wind. Must be perfect if you come here during the summer. We were here in Spring. It is non-powered site and no lights there.
A perfect place for fishing, swimming and walking. Long drop toilets and cold showers are clean. If you are all adults or grown up kids you can even walk following the tracks along the shores. Below is the link for their website for more info.
