How to Secure Electric Swing Gate Hinge Gaps - DHF TS 011:2016

Описание: As of 22nd June 2016, the DHF (Door & Hardware Federation) trade body that represents the UK gate & door industry has released a new code of practice. Several key elements of this code of practice have been designed to demystify complex standards and make things clearer for installers & maintainers of gates and barriers to understand.

One area of clarifications is the definition of swing/bi-fold hinge area crush or shearing hazards. This area has always been or concern when addressing safety requirements as the current BS EN standards did not define clearly any parameters.
The DHF TS011:2016 code of practice now provides some simple guidance regarding this dangerous hazard.
