In this second episode of my scrap fabric series, I’m making a reversible #RubyVest, using only fabric leftovers from past projects.
I’ve had a complicated history with sewing vests (third time’s the charm?), so in this video I’m embracing the process: making a mockup, designing intuitive patchwork, quilting by hand, reusing old pockets, sewing bias binding, and troubleshooting buttonholes that absolutely did not want to cooperate.

This project it’s about slow fashion, learning from mistakes, using what we already have, and finding beauty in scraps.
