1/7. Interview with Bob Redman, Vietnam veteran and RAAF pilot since the late 1960s. Bob shares his experience joining the Air Force, and training on both rotary wing and fixed wing aircraft.

Bob would go on to serve in Vietnam alongside RAAF 9 Squadron and the US Army. 9 Squadron operated throughout the Vietnam war, and was crucial in Australian military operations in the south. Bob operated various variants of the Bell UH-1 Huey - the primary aircraft of No. 9 Squadron - during his service in Vietnam, usually focusing on troop movement and support of military operations.
