Great Central Railway - 6th August 2024
It's the school holidays and a day off work, so I decided to visit the GCR it being one of my local heritage railways and a chance to ride behind BR 2MT 78019 and D8001.
Previous summer holidays have seen fair ground rides and other attractions to tempt in the families, but there was nothing on this week other than kids travel for £1. I would say it was quieter than when I've visited previous years with what appeared to be a low number of visitors.
