Mega Haulage Monday (15mins Short Edit) at Quorn & Woodhouse Rail Yard G.C.R 14/10/2024

Описание: Mega haulage day for Reid Freight Services at Quorn & Woodhouse, Great Central Railway 14th October 2024 (Short Version running time 15mins approx.)
A support coach was loaded first and taken over to Nene Valley Railway and then a Hunslet Austerity tank engine from Mountsorrel Museum Railway, due for restoration at Loughborough Locomotive Maintenance Services was loaded second. Third to be loaded was The A1 Steam Locomotive Trust LNER A1 Peppercorn 'Tornado'. The Locomotive is to be taken to Nene Valley Railway. Ryan and I didn't stay for the tender to be loaded due to chasing the locomotive along the motorway for this epic episode. Since there is a ban on driving heavy abnormal loads between 3pm and 6pm. We had to leave the crew at Leicester Forest Services. The locomotive and tender was then driven the distance to Peterborough that evening but unloaded first thing in the morning.
