How to Create a Looping Automation | SmartThings & Sharptools (2021)

Описание: In this video, I will show you how to create looping automations. This is an automation that is started and once started will keep looping over and over again until the conditions of the automation or rule are no longer met.

We will be using our SmartThings devices that are linked to SharpTools to create this looping automation in the SharpTools Rules Engine and at the end, I will show you on a SharpTools dashboard how the rule works.

The rule that I will demo is an away lighting security rule that will turn on and off lights in your house when you are not home at night to simulate someone is home. This automation is also very helpful with colored lights or anything else that would want to loop over and over again. Just follow the same procedure and you will get looped.
